Standalone is not gonna be a good game. I think that the game is getting lame. Vanilla DayZ is cool but there wont be any of the fun mods like, Overwatch, origins, and all the other fun ones. Their also wont be any servers host by people that cant be customized. Which means no deathmatch servers or any other cool ones because of the 'economy system' which will be controlled. If they add Overwatch and the other fun addons later in the future i will buy it. Im not gonna buy it when it first releases though. Everything is gonna be on Arma 3 and its gonna be better, although i wont be playing it due to it being laggy for me. Hope you guys can respect my thoughts and have a nice day!

Vanilla DayZ is actually not that good. the stand alone has the potential to be FAR better than the current form of DayZ. Who is to say that Mods wont be created for the standalone? its possible that the creaters will welcome it. also, get a better computer so you dont lag on good games bitch.

I think it's too early to call it based on missing features like mods. But I could see how faith is being diminished due to the lack of interest the Devs have in Zombie A.I.
I am personally at a point where whenever I hear in Video Games how the teams spent their months improving on a ranking system versus the core values of the game (for me, remember this is very opinionated) such as A.I. or level design.
In my mind, the way you want your character to look can ALWAYS be changed after the game mechanics work. In DayZ stand alone, it looks like they are doing this backwards and making sure all these little features work before working on other areas of dev.
