Welcome to todays eddition of "who do you play and why/what/where/when/how". Im your host, SSStylish, and today I will be selecting a champion in the ADC category that i have some experience with. this particular champion excells at close combat, and every tool in his kit is designed to ensure you can stay as close as possible to your enemy.
Today's Champion is Tryndamere
tryndamere is a close range ADC who is built around his auto attacks for crit damage. i play him for exactly this reason. he has massive early game damage, and will absolutly RAPE you late game. even if he is shut down early game you can still emerge as a massive killing machine late game. its almost impossible to shutdown trynd completely.
lets check out his skills for a moment.(this might take forever so im just going to sum up, probably very badly)

ABILITY SECTION
Passive ability: Battle Fury
on each attack you build up rage meter that, when full (100 rage), gives you 35% crit chance. you get 0.35% crit chance per 1 rage meter and gain 5 for a normal attack and 10 for a crit. this is a fucking BEAST of a passive. it takes him like....not even a full minute to build up to 100 rage, and that gives you 35% CRIT CHANCE!!!! rather than getting hit for like 70-90 damage early game, you are gonna be slapped around at a rediculous 160-200 damage! (have you NOT gone gay for trynd yet? well keep reading)
---------------------------
Q ability: Bloodlust
passive skill- gives you 5/10/15/20 AD plus 0.35% per 1% health missing.
active skill- consumes your rage meter and gives you a flat health amount plus.....a bunch of math shit that also factors in depending on how much rage meter you have and ap and whatever else. (far too much to explain and not really all that important)ok so, basically you get free ad all the time, extra ad if you have missing health, and you can use it to heal up a little bit of your life when you really think the cost of your extra 35% crit chance may save your life, or when you are save and are just trying to top off. this skill is SUPER good. a fucking dorans blade give you 10 AD. level 2 of this give you 10 ad. starting to get how this might be fucking awesome early game? hell, late game 20 AD is nothing to snear at eather. and this isnt all! you can use it to HEAL! thats SUSTAIN right there. early game, when you get first blood or that pussy toplaner runs to base, when he gets back thinking you are an easy kill cuz you are still low health, he is gonna shit himself when he finds out you not only have full health, but are a few levels higher than him as well. (holy shit, we arent even done! dont love him yet? keep reading nerd!)
---------------------------
W ability: Mocking Shout (i always imagine he is saying really nasty things about their mothers or possibly their latent homosexuality)
Decreases surrounding enemy champions physical damage by 20-80(maxed). ALSO, if those pussy bitches have their cowerdly backs to you, it ALSO SLOWS THEM by 30%-60%(maxed) for 4 FUCKING SECONDS!
now here we have trynd's only CC ability. its one hell of a CC ability yeah? 4 seconds? that is like FOREVER in league (haha get it?). with a crit champion hot and heavy right on your heels, do you really think he isnt gonna rape you if you cant get away? he is going to bad touch you to death in those 4 seconds. keep in mind, this ability effects ALL enemy champions within range. meaning their whole pussy team is gonna get raped by your allies when its all said and done. and if the whole team isnt around, you can just chose the one you like most and chase them. i suggest you chose the one who will go all weak knees on you after the first hit. trust me, they aint gonna get far and aint gonna last long. (there isnt even a chance that you dont want to play this guy yet, but for the sake of argument, keep reading. it only gets BETTER!)
---------------------------
E ability: Spinning Slash
Tryndamere spins and slashes in whatever direction you want up to a flat distance dealing damage to enemies within the spin attack. its a quick move that covers distance really fast, goes through walls, does damage, and also during cooldown your critical attacks will lower its cooldown by 2 seconds.
now this is going to be used A LOT. getting to lane faster, running away from dudes, getting CLOSE to dudes, damaging dudes, ETC.
this skill goes through walls! escaping with this skill is bread and butter for you. this is really good for pretty much anything. you will be out manouvering your enemies all the live long day. cutting corners, escapeing, catching up to people. do i really have to keep going? it does damage too so its really nice to use after you insult and slow them with MOCKING SHOUT. (you dont really need the damage early game so get it early but dont even bother leveling it up before anyhting else)
---------------------------
R ability: Undying Rage
Gives you 50/75/100 rage meter instantly. on a side note, you also get this really lame benefit of being COMPLETELY IMMUNE TO DEATH FOR 5 FUCKING SECONDS. your health will never drop below 1 while its active.for an ultimate ability, this just takes the cake. 5 second anti death? hell yes. instant full rage meter for 35% crit chance? yes please!! when you take into account all his other skills, this just combines them all into one delicious salad of DEATH. you are gonna be useing this skill when you are really low on life in order to do a few things. 1. outlive a 1v1 battle.(pop it to stay alive, better kill him during it or get away) 2. soak up turret damage when diving for a kill.(use it only when you are LOW HEALTH, if you have life it doesnt do shit for you really as you still lose health) 3. tanking a torrent of enemy damage when you are getting ganked so you can dish out massive damage to them to make them rethink their pussy tactics.(its not uncommon to get ganked, kill off 1 or even 3 of your gankers, and still get out alive) 4. no wait, im pretty sure thats all.

SKILL SECTON OK, thats all his skills summed up really shitty in my own words giving you an idea how trynd works all the while.
you will level skills like this for the most part, keep in mind, some of it is personal preference.
E > W > Q > Q > Q > R > Q > W > Q > W > R > W > W > E > E > R > E > E this means, max your Q first for the passive damage and heal bonus(mostly the damage bit).
after Q go into your CC ability on W
after you max your W, then you can go E. E is mostly your escape/chaser ability. you dont need it for damage and it doesnt get any better distance-wise when you level it. i grab it first to get to lane faster or invade, and use it to catch up to my enemy or escape.
obviously R is going to pop up occasionally and you are going to select that whenever that happens. you arent an idiot are you?

Weapon Build Section ok, i will not bore you too much, i'll just suggest the starting items and a few late game items or situational items.
*start game items, get a long sword and a few health pots. turn that longsword into a Blade of the Ruined King. thats your first item. finish it first. *get berzerkers boots next. evolve them into homeguards eventually.
*get an avarice blade, eventually build that into a Static Shiv, you dont have to do it right away though.(that extra damage actually CRITS when you do! HOLY SHIT)
*get an Infinity Edge.(maybe get it earlyer if you think you need more damage or you were fed and have tons of money)
*get a Blood thirster.
*the last slot is for situational items. such as Maw of Malmortius for those AP bastards, Last Whisper for those AD tank bastards, Warmongs for those burst damage bastards, and pretty much any blend of attackspeed or AD item that you really want here. you could even throw in another IE or Blood Thirster if you really want it. for the most part your last item is going to be what you think you need most.
---------------------------
I usually build like this:
1.
[start of game] longsword+3-4 health pots (stay in lane till first blood or level 6-7, whichever comes last)
2.
[first back] turn longsword into either Bilgewater Cutless (if it all went well) or a Vampireic Scepter+health pots or Daggers (usually if i died)
3.
[second back or first death] finish off Blade of the Ruined King. get first boots and avarice blade if possible.
4.
[third back or second death] finish berserkers boots. decide if you want an Infinity Edge or Static Shiv.
5.
[fourth back] finish out your IE or finish Static Shiv+ start getting more bits of IE.
6.
[late/end game] get whatever you want/need. this is the time when you decide what you need more than the rest. you should already have IE, BotRK, Static S, and Berserkers boots. after this, you get whatever you think you need for the enemy composition. refer above for item suggestions(stick with AD though)

HOW DO YOU FLIPP'N PLAY HIM? SPILL THE BEANS!!!-section this section is all about using him effectively. i wont go into too much detail but will leave you with enough information so you know what you are about and what (generally) you will be doing.
first, trynd is a toplaner/jungler (i dont like jungle trynd though, he is almost always low health when low level so he cant gank as efficiently as others). for the most part you are going to build up your rage, and slap around your enemy toplaner a little at a time. harrass. ward though, you need to know if you are gonna get ganked.
after you finish your Blade of the Ruined King you are gonna try ganking a little. push up your lane, then go to mid and gank. call it first. you should be able to get a kill, at least an assist. head back to top lane afterwards and push up your waves. then you can back if you really want to.
after you have a few kills under your belt you should be able to smash your fellow toplaner and take that turret. once you do, push up your lane. back for items, and then head to either mid or bot lane for a gank. your mission is to deal as much damage as possible to your enemy that you can either get the turret, or kill them AND the turret. whatever happens, back afterwards and then push up top lane.
rinse and repeat this untill teamfighting ensues, if your team cant keep the damage up and win teamfights without you then join the teamfights. you will be split pushing top almost without change for most of the game, unless your team really cant do shit without you.
Victory.
--------------------------
a few side notes: *you will be split pushing for most of the game
*you will be going through the jungle mobs for money as you roam
*you will be getting shit for split pushing in low ELO matches, many people dont actually know what split pushing is. just ignore it, explain it if you must, but dont stop doing it if you start pulling aggro away from your team. thats the reason split pushing is effective. you should have no problem killing off the enemies who come to gank you unless it is thier entire team. if the 5 man team is there, your team is going to be pushing elsewhere and they will just be wasting time and power on you. good job.
*using your Q to heal is only acceptable when you are almost dead and running away/topping off when roaming/you just used your R ulti and have 1 health left with a shitty DOT on you. start slamming your Q when your R is almost finished. you should be able to insta heal enough to outlive ignite and other DOTs as you run off to base.
--------------------------- your ability combo is gonna work like this
1. enemy in range, use W to slow them.
2. use E to close in the distance if they are too far. otherwise, smash them with auto attacks.
3. when W wears off, use E to close in on them for more damage. your crits will be lowering the E cooldown so you will be getting this ability up a lot.
4. use your R skill only when you are about to die, in those five seconds you had better be able to kill the thing you are attacking or run away saftly. its better to save your ult for later if you think you wont be able to get a kill with it. escapeing with it is not always a good use of it. you can however, use it to live through karthus ults, that is always a good use of it. dont let him finish you off like a bitch. scream your head off and rage right through it.
5. rinse and repeat 1-3.
6. assess the damage/situation. if the enemy is almost dead or dead, finish them off and back up. if they are getting away and not taking enough damage, back off. if the enemy might be leading you into their team, back off. only all-in an enemy if they are alone and without help nearby/nearby enemys are low as well/you get caught out 1v5 and want to make them pay for it if possibe. you should be able to kill 1 or 2 enemies even 1v5. go for it. otherwise, if you think you cant, or just dont want to give up that killstreak gold, run away with E. use it to get through walls and around corners to make as much distance as possible. Lead them to your team for a teamfight, that is always a surprise.

There you have it. Trynd is a beast, a bastard, and the best close range ADC i have ever used. The Rapist from the Frozen Wastes, the Saulton of Sex, the King of Crass. i made those up, but goddamn if they dont apply. give him a shot. you will not be dissapointed. it takes some time to geet used to using ult right so practice it.(on last thing, if enemy team has major stun cc, they will focus you with it during your ult. it can literally destory your ult advantage).
I hope you all open your eyes to the way, the truth, and the light that is Tryndamere. till next time my friends!
SEE YA!
