I might be the only female on here thus far, but I thought I'd throw a list of my favorite Shojo/ Josei manga up for everyone to see.
For those of you who don't know, Shojo manga is targeted for young adult women, generally around 14-18, while Josei is targets 18+. Most of these manga are in the romance/romantic comedy genre, and are generally considered "girly."
The following are my favorites, in no particular order (except the first one, it's my favorite :3 ):
Post your suggestions below, or if you'd like other suggestions, let me know. I'll be updating more titles when I have more effort.

This story is about a cute senior in high school named Fukada Rei. One day, while at school, she accidentally walks around with her skirt tucked into her school books in her arms. A very handsome guy asks to take a picture of her, and she says yes, not realizing he was just being rather pervy. He then blackmails her into meeting him for lunch. Kawaii as fuck. - Hana Kimi:

For anyone who likes historical fiction, check this out. It's hard for me to describe concisely, so here's the description from the site: "Yuri lived the peaceful, average teenage life until Queen Nakia drew Yuri across time and space into the ancient Hittite Empire to use her as a sacrifice! Yuri meets many different friends throughout her journey to find a way home, but when the season of the North Star comes, enabling Prince Kail to send Yuri home, can she make it back, or have her growing feelings for Kail become too much?"
NOTE: This story can be kind of...rapey. The Yuri is never raped, but she gets into many situations where if it were real life, she would have been beaten and raped, so if that freaks you out, you may want to pass. - Please Save My Earth:
12 volumes.

This is more of a Sci-fi manga, with lots of shojo aspects. This is another complicated plot, so i'm just going to let the internet describe it for you again:
"Alice Sakaguchi has recently moved to Tokyo from her country home in Hokkaido... and she absolutely hates it. The air is polluted, there are far fewer of her beloved plants in the city than she would prefer, she can't seem to make friends at her new high school, and her seven-year old neighbor, Rin, is constantly bullying her. One day, Alice takes Rin to the zoo, where, as usual, the animals crowd around Alice when she gets near, and it seems that she can feel their thoughts. At the zoo, she runs into two of her male classmates, who she thought she had seen having a rather... intimate... moment a few days before. They tell her that they have been having the same dreams since junior high, extremely vivid dreams in which they are scientists observing the earth from a base on the moon with five others. Alice is fascinated by this and wants to know more. When she has one of these dreams herself, however, and the three of them start searching for the other four scientists, one of which turns out to be Rin, Alice's world begins to change drastically, and perhaps not for the better."
