Horror Manga

Horror manga is one of my favorite genre of manga. The following is a list of the titles I like best:

• Mirai Nikki

  Amano Yukiteru is a 14 year old by who doesn't really have friends. He spends all of his time keeping a diary in his phone. One day, he finds diary entries that tell his future, and shit goes down. This series is pretty bloody awesome.
  
  
• Franken Fran

  This manga is about moral consequences you didn't see coming, through the adventures of Fran, a "doctor."
  
  
• Hellsing

  In England, the Hellsing group eliminates ghouls and vampires in the name of the Queen. Very generic description, but you better just start reading this immediately. Like, right now. Click the link. Your life depends on it.
  
  
• Elfen Lied

  Description copy pastaed from wikipedia: "Elfen Lied takes place in Kamakura, Japan, focusing on a new strain of the human race, Diclonius, similar to human beings with invisible arms called vectors but different at the genetic level and notable due to physical abnormalities, particularly a pair of short horn-like protrusions. One such Diclonius, Lucy, is the main character of the series: Initially held in a facility built for experimentation, located off the coast of Kamakura, she manages to escape and wreak havoc, but is injured in the process, an event which causes her to develop a secondary, childlike personality known as Nyu.
  
  Lucy is found by two locals, Kohta, who studies at the local university, and his cousin Yuka. They take her in, and become involved with the numerous, often brutal, attempts to recapture her by a Special Assault Team and a number of other Diclonius, who shift frequently from oblivious to murderous."
  
  This series is pretty brutal. It's awesome though.
  
  
• Anything by Junji Ito!
  
  He is pretty much the king of horror manga in Japan. He writes one shots and shorts series for the most part. For a complete list of manga, click here .
